Did 2 sample plates with a little bit of everything and ribs and baby back ribs. tender flavorful. The side of mac n cheese was creamy with a great balance of cheeses. Coleslaw was great because it wasn't drenched in mayo or doused in crappy vinegar. The coleslaw was balanced with both. Extremely tasty and crunchy. Now onto the collard greens. They were fantabulous!! Seriously. Cooked perfectly with pork and onions. They were not mushy! I truly can't abide mushy greens. Almost as good as my Grandmothers.
The table comes with 6 BBQ sauces from sweet to hot. Woohoo! Plus by the self serve drinks there are a couple of more. They were the hotter ones. Good idea to keep them there away from kids. I, of course, tried them all. I'm not stupid..just from California. They don't get that right there. This place is fun. They cater to our brave men and women in uniform. I like that. Grew up in the military. The place was clean. The bathrooms spotless. The clientele were also friendly. They actually smile at you here. Nice people. Try smiling at someone in a restaurant where I come from.
Loved the friendly helpful staff. They accommodated 2 adults, a 7 year old, a 2 year old and a 4 month old. Another thing that California fails at is the family friendly eateries. Like my Tshirt says. California "Y'all ain't right". Mission BBQ is the bomb! -

I really really like this place. Every time I go visit my sister I go get me some BBQ here.
Ive tried the salmon which is very delicious, it runs out quickly though. Also, anything on special that day will run out quickly so eating there past... I dont even know, maybe 4p-5p will leave you with the basics, Mac n cheese, cold salad, greens beans, and what not.
The half chicken is also very good, as well as the ribs! And I have too much fun with all the BBQ sauces. -

Meat eaters rejoice. Our family's standby restaurant. Even when we travel we seek out their restaurants in Google search when we visit other cities.
I recommend the beef brisket. And a blast from the past, cream soda. -

Good BBQ, not great. I am not from NC but this was the second BBQ meal I had on my trip out to Fort Bragg and it was just fine. The Mac and Cheese and Fries were good but the brisket sandwich was just all right. I found the meat to be a little dry and unseasoned.

When I say I uavent found bomb bbq since I moved to NC, I mean that......well until this place....especially their moist brisket....that has to be the best brisket I have ever had in my life....and I make some good brisket myself....lol the mac m cheese was bomb....the shrimp was super bomb as well....didnt like the sauce that came with it....but the shrimp was cooked perfectly...the greens was bomb....the potato salad was good....dang just everything....after i finished eating i went back up to the counter and order more of everything for my family....the only thing I'm sad about is that it's all the way in fayetteville and I'm in Raleigh....but for that food...its worth the drive
